Feel free to pirate in O-49 as much as you want. Just get in line with the Corsairs.
Now explain me something if you will. Planet Cork is a Molly planet no? QCP, which was a BAF division, hates Mollys does it not? I'm looking at the wiki here for confirmation. Both of your characters seem to focus on this Corsair issue while the Mollys are marked as terrorists by BFA.
We don't hate anyone enough to want a planet eradicated of life (especially one with Bretonian citizens on it, whether they like being citizens or not).
Sir Andrew Stuart isn't a monster, and wouldn't wish that on anyone.
To be fair, I think the bombing of Cork is a good thing from an OOC perspective. It gives the Mollys a proper cause for. Once the Bretonian conflict ends, the Mollys will probably only have the Corsairs and Kusari to worry about. The Gaians are a threat but unfortunately they are very inactive.
Still, I think the Zoners should just deal with the Bounty.
Why NOT have the bounty?
Sure, I get that but you need to understand that opening such hostilities against Zoners on the account that Corsairs nuked your enemy seems a little odd. If it's a Liberty planet, yes, that makes sense. But a terrorist organization?
Here's another thing, according to wiki Cork was nuked in 802 -- something like 15 years ago. I'm not sure how long it's been since that bit of history was actually introduced into Discovery mod. Why only now are we receiving these threats from both of your characters? What has changed?
Zoners delivered food to Crete for god knows how long and their relationship with the Corsairs (if you metagame and peak on their private comms) isn't doing so well -- What with the Brotherhood going to Hogosha for food supplies and OPG putting a flat 2-4 million tax on all Zoners.
As a matter of fact, this is the worst time for these occusations to take place. Why didn't you do it back in the days when Corsairs were actually hired by the Zoner players to guard O-49 (before it all went to hell and the idea was scraped) ?

There's also Corsairs attacking Bretonian shipping from Gran Canaria. We rightly fear what else they may do.
Also, Bretonia hadn't discovered Omega 49 fifteen years ago.
AND
The Zoners shot first.
We violated an NFZ, since we don't give a crap, shooting a Corsair or three (It benefits them, not us). Malaclypse then shot us in his carrier.
Sorry, maybe this is beside the point. But isn't your "zoners shot first" reason completely irrelivant because your character disregarded NFZ by shooting and pirating there? I mean, you can say all the "zoners shot first" you want, that's fine, folks admit it. I'm just trying to understand if you're hinting at something there.
If your characters never cared about FNZ then I'm not sure fingerpointing makes a difference in any case.
Look if you want your QCP chaps to go trigger happy on Zoners, that's fine. I just don't think that your Sir Caithness character seems very believable. I know that QCP has wanted to dust Zoners for a while, but the MP fellah just comming to us with this extradition treaty is a little funky.
Har har har. Let's see... a few pirates without a house or even a base to call their own versus a group with numerous bases, a planet, and multiple shipyards.
I don't see the wisdom in their picking this fight, but at this point I'm about done arguing about it OOC and am having a blast shooting back.
Since the Bretonian government has been cooperative (at least publicly), further isolating the Privateers, I figure it might not be so awful to simply sweep them into oblivion using every Jugg and Corvo we have.
In short, my suggestion: simply crush them. In RP, of course.

It's not so much a Bounty as it is that the ones posted were just....posted...with no RP reason why. Someone may hate a group for personal reasons but that doesn't justify a bounty. "Because my parents were killed by the Zoner NFZ rule" as one person put it doesn't justify a blanket bounty on all.
Besides, a lot of us *raises hand* are kind of boring. I can't PVP worth a damn so I don't do it. Go ahead, blow my transport out from underneath me numerous times. It will get boring after awhile and for 4 hours I get to log off and go work on one of the projects in my basement.

Then go after the offenders who invade your space! You're getting as bad as the Gallian Crown where because of a few, everyone is bad! *rolls eyes* Sending in your Privateers only makes it worse.
You, Blunt, broke a promise to your own people NOT to go into Omega 49! I've been told by many.
