This whole discussion is pointless crap. Some guys are turning upsidedown the given roleplay of this modification because the cannot get along with the peaceful way - roleplaying without shooting.
But more concerning is the inactivity of the Admins team, especially Igiss do not clarify this who set up the given roles and factions.

The Zoner players are now well organised and have a lot of fun but this fun was destroyed for just personal satisfaction or what ever.
The same crap happened on the old nima (nomad revolutions 2 mod) sever and leads to a bitter end.

I can understand those who are jealous because the group of Zoner players is growing and having a lot of fun together, even without extensive PvPwhoring. Your own definition of that what you assume to be role play must be concussed utterly this way, but you will not change anything. The important difference is that the Zoner players are enjoying to have a constructive team that can see things growing (establishing a working council, establishing an own civilization, developing policies andrelations, etc.) while you are probably still stuck in your next cap loadout.

Why should they need solutions? Nothing happend so far. The Zoners have discovered Corsairs on Gran Canaria? Wow, what news!!! But what should they do, if they should discover that many of them are coming from the houses? Wouldn't that be an extraordinary tragedy?
No, the CoZ negotiated with a Corsair Elder because the CoZ likes to settle everything by negotiations, and the only problems that the Zoners have are those who are imposed on them by others. Zoners need no solutions while the other do.

Folks, Zoner Neutrality is something you want to achieve, it's a long term goal where you have to balance actions permanently, and it makes a lot of sense and fun when playing it. It's completely pointless to discuss concepts like Neutrality on different semantical layers, because there's no claim that reality can always grip a virtual universe driven by imagination, though the philosophical background in the Zoner role play is by far better than you would ever admit.

RP Solutions? They are not needed, but one thing is again clear: Begrudging people tend to destroy things they can't understand. That's very human, but it's not very zonerish;)

Because we could probably single-handedly take over the whole world with very little losses. (and, because we buy many world goods...)

Thats exactly the reason why nobody attacks us, We have equivalent millitary forces of any houses. (Yes, even you snails.)

At first, all I could think of is - you're an idiot. America is in no way shape or form neutral. Picking on the small people isn't neutral, it's bullying. The fact that America is chasing the smaller countries with no ties to the larger superpowers that would steamroll it is the only reason it hasn't been invaded by those other superpowers. And even if you did 'take over the whole world with very little losses', there's a little thing called selfishness. Once one of the rival nuclear possessing superpowers is forced onto the back foot, with American soldiers marching on their capital, expect nukes to start falling on Washington and other populated cities.

And that second-to-last paragraph doesn't even deserve a response...

If we are looking at this from a post 2nd World War perspective then Russia & China are also obviously neutral. They like attacking smaller nations too & no superpower has attacked them either. They also trade with most of the world.

Retaining your neutrality takes effort & is an enjoyable part of core Junker RP.
It should be an enjoyable core part of Zoner RP & not just silver platter stuff.

First, the US could not take over even a small partion of the world, they dont have the men, they dont have the ships, they dont have the money to.
Did not work in Korea, Kuba, Vietnam, Afganistan, ok it worked in Irak, but in anycase, that comparason does not apply here in any case.

Liberty is a major power in the discovery world, as are all the other housesm they all maintain large Warfleets and may or may not sucessfull wage war against other houses.

The Zoner were once people who were fed up with the pressures of living in the houses, and left, a small bunch of loosly allied people who trust themselves deep into space to find their fortune or dimise.

Unforunatlely the designers have chosen to ally the Zoners to other Fations, GMG, Order and the Corsairs in Omega-49.
Also the Zoners now have Battleships, Carries, Cruisers and Destroyers, each one of those would need a larger Crew to operate than any of the freeports, who did they got them?
Its just laughable, the houses with their many millions of cidizens can affort to build them, but a small group of loosly affiliated drifters? No that just lol.
But that how it is right now, sadly but it is fact that the Zoners have become somekind of a major house, and they have chosen a side (the NPC have!).

The only solution is, the NPC faction of the Zoners gets put back into place were they fit the (Vanilla) Zoners, neutral an small, no quarrel with anyone, or it stays as it is, and the Zoner players stopp whining about getting shot for their political alignment.

Colonel.Tigh is a Zoner, but i dont play him alot, cause the Zoners arent Zoners anymore.
