Perhaps a buff to weapons speed would be workable as well, aside from Razors that is.

Make pinning their prey (Fighters and Bombers) a good deal easier.

Um, gunboat weapons are already twice as fast as fighter weapons. Speed isnt a problem, range is.

I don't think range is a problem. Remember you can't make Gunboats have more range than Cruisers or you'll have Gunboats killing them too easy. Bombers need to be close to Gunboats to hit them anyway, since Gunboats are too agile to hit from long range with the SNAC.

Normal gunboat turrets are not what gunboat pilots use to kill cruisers, they use pulses and razors - which already have decent range.

I'm only talking about standard turrets here, not the special weapons. Buffing them up to even 900m range (most are 790-800 right now) would help against bombers.

Yes you are right The range of normal turrets should be made 1000 and Other turrets like the pulse and the razor 1500

The pulse and BR are already both 1500 range.

The one thing i have found is that unless the bomber is jousting you, or otherwise attacking you, pulses anbd BRs are mostly useless. It would be nice to see a little speed buff on them, if only to bring it up to 1000 (same speed as a GB cerberus gun).

in past, i was able in my corsair gb solo most of the battlecruisers,cruisers, and with help of another bomber or gb battleship too.
i dont say it was not fun for me, but i know that something was wrong when one gb was able to take battlecruiser...
now gbs are nerfed and you must choose. anticap loadout or antifighter/bomber loadout. when you choose, your gb can beat other gb (sometime cruiser too) or bomber. but not everything.

and montezuma, increasing speed of razors/pulses allow you to snipe all bigger ships from safe distance 1000-1500 m ...
which make them ideal against all caps.

so i think gb are goodas tehy are now.

Well I am just fine with BRs and pulses as they are now. Even I am able to take down a bomber with it.

In a 1on1 it is easy, its just that with their slow speed it makes fleet battles a pain as you can dammage nothing that is not a cap or attacking you.

Thats why i would like just a small increase in speed, just to bring them in line with cerberuses.
