Just read the last few pages.

You want to 'enforce justice' with the largest ammount of firepower you can?

Let me make this clear, you are not a Space Marine.

Edit: As for the distance we have come, i think the topic is no longer visable on the horizon... *gets compas and map out*... ok, i think the topic might be this way, lets head back towards it...

There is no Sirius wide police force.
The Admins have said time and time again there never, ever will be.
Using 4 different characters as a crappy attempt to RP such a thing is just painfully silly.

I've been told you can't engage someone unless they have a bounty. No bounty, no pew pew. ID and ship doesn't have influence. That's the rule.

Also I'm fairly sure Rheinland doesn't even have blanket bounties on its unlawfuls anymore. There used to be some token amount but I think even that is gone now.

This is exactly the problem we have with your idea.. Police shouldn't go everywhere.

' Wrote:Well this aint exactly fair, pirates can go attack anyone anywhere and lawfuls cannot? Sounds biased. Just want a reverse pirate. Found it. Bountyhunter.
Pirates can go anywhere? Do you have any clue what would happen to me if my GC was found in the Omegas? Or if I tried to pirate an Interspace Commerce or Synth Foods IDd ship? A sanction. Every single pirate group has a limit to where they can go, even the Outcasts and the Corsairs. Why should you be able to 'police' everywhere you damn well please, while we have to stay within confined areas? Simply put; You shouldn't. We don't, you don't, everyone stays happy.

More like; Liberty, Magellan, Cortez, and Manchester. Everywhere else and that Lane Hacker shouldn't be there without a very good RP reason. Maybe you should do some research before saying these things, since you seem to be wrong more often than right.

Which is nothing but the usual pvp whore/anti-pirate crap we are sick of. Do you think I like it when an Orbital Spa and Cruise-tagged, Mercenary ID'd Liberty Gunboat undocks Planet Kyushu to attack my GC VHF? No. I don't. I don't care if you don't like being pirated, but we do that piracy within the bounds of our faction, and within the bounds of the rules. Furthermore, we do it at a high risk. The one thing we don't need more of is vigilante GBs flying all over shooting every pirate they see with ENAGGAGIN! This is why the vigilante ID forbids the user from using Gunboats. Also, the Bounty Hunter ID has its own restrictions. Make sure you pay attention to them before you start your 'Sirius Police' cr- stuff.

Well, I don't think gunboat should be talked as about capital ship, but rules are rules. And rules say that gunboat is capital thing. :)

I'd just like it noted Dab that the Vigilante ID forbids a hell of a lot more than gunboats, to the point of insanity. Other than my own little bad of idealists, I've seen maybe one vigilante not flying under a faction's colours, and he disappeared a while back.

For the Core.

I know, but the Gunboat part here is what pertains to this discussion. He just wants to be a vigilante in a Gunboat to lolattack pirates because he's been pirated before. He wants the perks of the Vigilante ID without the ship class restrictions.

You forgot the areas around Leiden, too. But that's not so important compared with everything in the thread - just wanted to make sure everyone remembered that part.

Well as I said before, real vigilantes have a certain level of class that he distincly lacks. As such, there's a rather large chance he might become the victim of friendly fire if he ever shows face with one in Liberty.
