Kisama (kee-SAH-mah)

directly translates to "you" but is very rude more like "you bastard" but was once translated as "you spoony bard"

Seinen/Josei/Shonen/Shojo

means man/woman/boy/girl respectively

Baka

Generic mild expletive meaning stupid or fool, etc

Bakabakashi

foolishness, craziness. "Why are these gaijin here, polluting our space, bakabakashi!"

Ahou (ah-HOH)

a japanese onomatopoeia for a sound a crow makes- used for calling some one a moron or an idiot or "bird-brain"

-jin

suffix meaning person ie Gai (outisde) + jin = outsider/foreigner, bakajin meaning foolish person or Libertyjin (Ributijin) for some one from Liberty

Dame (dah-MEH)

translates to bad or "do not". ie "DAME! Ram me one more time and I will blast you."

-shi

suffix that translates to "person of" or "thing of". ie Honshushi would be someone from Honshu. When used with a profession it implies male gender so Kangoshi would be male nurse. A female nurse would be Kangofu

Sugoi (su-GOY)

translates to wow

Nani (nah-NEE)

translates to what. useful for using instead of wtf

Urusai

means shut up

Oooh, this was very much needed. I'd been using -san like a madman, but felt a bit silly when the Imperial Yacht rocked up and I didn't have any other suffixes that were of a more subservient tone to use. Specific suffixes for customers is ve-ery useful as well.

Kudos for compiling this guide.

For those interested in terms of a more Naval bent, here's a list current to world war II of the Japanese Naval Air Force. It changed a little bit over time, mind.

Also, if you see Kenzou.Tenma shouting "Ohayo gozaimasu!" it just means Good Morning. When he says "Sayohnara", rather than Sayonara, it is not because it is more correct, it is only a more formal rendition of the goodbye. He's old-school traditional, so don't worry too much about it.
