I was still deciding whether to mine or trade but after reading this it seems like mining is better. Are there any risks and dangers I should know about?

Its nice to see that some people do actually listen when advised.
But at the end of the day its the players choice.:lol:

Mining can be a good way to get off to a flying start but as others have said watch your back.
Just to quit the server rules here slightly your only protected by sirius space laws until you reach player level 30.
Once you exseed that your fair game to pirates...
