RE: Trade Report
Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well,
Its been a while since my last report and for that i apologies. What with refitting the GlenCoe after some nasty pirate types blew bits out of her and such. Anyway, down to business.
It seems that the market has changed somewhat regarding commodity prices so i shall now take the GlenCoe out and see if i can reprogramme my ships systems for good trade routes. It will take a while but i will report back anything i have found.
On a side note, it seems there are some indie Corsairs out there who are piloting strange Gunboats that i have not seen before. I tried a quick scan on one idiot who tried to tax me right outside the Freeport in Omega 3 and the scan said it was of Order origin!!
Anyone know who these guys are? And do they know the Corsairs are using them?

RE: Trade Report
Greetings all,
Due the changes Calum mentioned, the Perth has been pulling extra shifts over our standard contracted work. A half pullman to be exact, berl to Dortmund, lux food back. Quiet apart from a pair of corsairs we encountered just through the Omega 7-3 gate. 1.5 million down the tubes...
Apart from that, the corsair in that order gunboat you mentioned Calum, call sign "art_hooligan"? Seen it outside fp1 in Omega 3, demanding a million off some poor soul. Maybe a wee line to the Zoner council is in order eh? 'E was breaking their no fire zone, so maybe use 'em to get rid of the begger?

RE: Trade Report
Hello everyone, hope you are all well,
Aye Alec, thats the begger! I think i will drop a wee line to the Zoners to keep an eye out for him.
With some changes to commodity prices it seems that Kensington is now the hub of trade for Engine Components. This is good and bad i think. Let me try to explain.
If we can get a contract from ALG to take Ship Hull panels from their base at Dortmund to The Ring, where im guessing their ships are built, then perhaps we can negotiate shipping Engine Components back home to Kensington? Just a thought i would put to the Board and see what they think.
The bad is this, on my way to Liberty with a Gold shippment i ran across a Junker in a Pirate ship docking on Kensington with a cargo of Engine Components!!! Now how he managed to dock somewhere to get these and then manage to dock on Kensington i have no idea. I have docking footage of this taken from the port camaras outside Kenington if the Board wishes to see this.
With some other changes to prices i am still investigating and will let you know what i find.

RE: Introducing himself
Evening chaps I'm Malcom Eberly, I just joined your company i suppose i should tell you a bit about myself so you know who your flying with.
I'm not completely new to the trading game because i have been working as an independent trader since i retired from the BAF, I even had my own little warehouse where i operated out of. But thing were getting a bit rocky and I thought it would be good to part of something bigger.

RE: Trade Report
Guten Tag,
I have had quite a lucrative night, regardless of the pirate I encountered. I started from Nuremburg with Military Vehicles for Leeds. A bit out of the ordinary for us, yes, but, the war is tasting a bit too much like a certain yellow citrus for my tastes. On my way back to Leeds, I encountered a rather nasty friend. Rather, it wasn't a friend at all; more of a Corsair.
Thankfully, the BAF were capable of reaching me in time. We can thank the divines that they were so quick and the Corsair so slow to the trigger. I might point out the rather ominous threat at the end of the recording, though. Everyone should rather be careful about Corsairs, from now on. The prospect is rather nasty.
Anyway, after this I happened to continue my runs through Bretonia, running Mining Machinery to Birmingham, Terraforming Gases to Perth, and Ship Hull Panels to Southampton without much trouble. Another run through the Omegas also netting the profits of Mining Machinery to Freistadt and Cobalt to Planet New London.
A rather lucrative time, 'eh? As ominous as the night might be,
~Gunther Koch

Re: new ship
I don't realy know who to address this to because I'm new, but I'll direct it to whoever keeps a record of pilots and their ships.
Yesterday I obtained a Firefly class transport ship from an old military budy of mine in the logistics Corp and will be flying under the name of Gateway)Troubadour. If there is a problem with this broadcast to me on this channel or drop me a private line.

RE: Trade Report
Greetings, All!
I took the newly reinstated Trafalgar out for a nice run this evening, from Kensington to the Hood to Ft. Bush to Manhattan and to Cambridge Research. I had the pleasure of an escort from BAF|Ens.Jake.Blackstar from NL to Curacao, and after the 1 mil to him (which I believe is BAF's limit), I ended with a total profit of 10,350,710 mil.
No troubles for the most part. In California, the Liberty Navy was staring down some Hellfire Legion brigands, but none of the scoundrels came close to me. In New London, however, I was stopped by a Corsair who apparently was not familiar with Shire armament. While fighting him off with not too much trouble, I contacted the several BAF in the system (not too bright, this Corsair), who shortly came to my assistance. I encountered another TBH at the JG to Cambridge, but he simply ran when I got there, much to my amusement.
All in all, a great first day back. And may I say once again how proud I am to fly under the flag of this very fine company.
