That looks epic. Does it have any moving parts or did you opt for a static Jump Gate?

You should also made docking rings and mooring rings.

why thank you. im "upgrading" it as we speak, to add parts for animation purposes. so yes, when the gate is activated for jumping, there will be moving parts (and hopefully, some other stuff too).

and yes, all of that is now on the agenda. seeing that everyone focuses entirely on modelling ships (and loads of others who just model, but dont learn the next important step- texturing), im sticking to things others ignore, and that covers under "structures" for me:P

model is now pretty much finished. I will conduct some general clean-up of the model itself along with some other things, and then its ready for submission for being animated.

With this now done, i can focus on other things, AFTER i take a short break. all this texturing is making me see 3d models and bits of textures before my eyes..
