Heck, even just have a pod dedicated to having a big billboard.

In fact, that would be great for RP, since we can RP a company, similar to moving-advertisements, throughout Sirius.

Possibilities everywhere!
yea like with the pods.. i agree it could be great.. having different boards

I'd advise putting an extra 'floor' in, that goes through the middle of the window.

Great job! A little more work on it, and different designs for different functions, bar, healthcare, transit, and food. A big billboard could be really funky aswell. I hope that we gain more variety, rather than the pods being removed altogether

I think this looks great. However I do have two issues with it (what a surprise, right?).

It is not at all to scale, have you seen how big tall decks are in discovery? I mean container must be for giants that are as tall as 2 story buildings, at least.

My second issue is an RP one. It Is very doubtful trains are made to provide life support to all their containers. Perhaps they can do this while docked with the assistance of the stations resources but I very much doubt it is done in space. If you want the pods to be realistic I would devote at least a quarter of each one to life support systems, to represent this I would just make a section with no windows.

Dude, go for it. It looks great.

Edit: Could start a house transport line, kinda like a bus service. OS&C goes between houses, this could be Intra-house.

Perhaps we should take this time to discuss all the other things that are horrifically scaled in Freelancer?

I think if these pods were scaled to match larger ships with similar sized windows and such, it would lose most of its charm. I would much rather that it stayed this way, since it is unique and recognizable, something a block with rows of white squares isn't.

I think miniaturization and every other aspect of design and engineering would have come a very long way by 817 AS. As an example of this, take Cryocubes, or perhaps even thrusters and shield generators.
