That didn't happen in ages, so no.
Most of the times that i go to Alpha i try to RP with the players and most of the times i leave disapointed.
Specially newbies they can barely right one RP word, so if the OC are to interact with the other factions, they need to start interacting a lot more in their own faction.
It's kind of sad, that most of the good RP's i find in Alpha are only the old players that i used to know.

Outcasts are getting pushed under the rug... simple as that. Alpha isn't what it used to be anymore and Gamma is too far for raids, also there is basically no one left from 4.85. Finally... Outcasts lack ships, active players are weak and not interesting. Bravo!
I think it's rather amusing how the OC playerbase hated on the CR. Now the CR is gone and the last real OC player activity died with them. It makes me chuckle.
If it wasn't so darn sad that a complete house is now covered in mold and spiderwebs.
seriously, get out of Alpha, build a base somewhere and use it as a staging ground. run into gallia. Invade T23 or Kusari. set up an old skool cardi syndicate. Don't whine about OP tech no longer being OP and use that as an excuse to stop playing OC characters.
It's kinda funny that there's almost no OC players about. until an indie CR chances into Alpha. in 5 minutes there are at least 3 dreads, 2 stortas and several trids. How about that merry lot gets off its collective ass and do something useful?

What is stopping the Reapers of Sirius from staging a coup of the current OC political system and becoming the new official Outcast faction?
Seriously, if the old factions are dead, why not just make the RoS replace them along with their new alliances? Problem solved.
Have all the Outcast bases sell Reaper ships instead of Borderworld tech, etc.
Alas the Reapers are nowhere near large enough for such a thing to ever be feasible.
Nor do we have any prospects for conquest. We broke our ties to the Outcasts a long time ago, we no longer hold any political or moral sway on Malta, The most we have are some sympathisers who fund us under the table. More like agents who we left on Malta.
At this moment in time, the Outcast factions and the people would most likely hate our guts and see us as traitors and most likely what got them into this mess in the 1st place.
Also bear in mind that some of the things being said can be taken as offensive to the people that actually ARE doing something. So saying something like, "oh well the whole oc player base are whiners and not doing anything except sitting in alpha lolol!" puts an even bigger damper in our mood and further discourages the ones that are doing something into not doing something since they're being put in the category with the ones that just sit in Alpha or don't do anything at all.

I'm all for it. I love that sort of RP and heavily encourage this throughout Sirius.
EDIT: I mean, we will of course defend our position though.

EDIT2: But Lohingren has a point, they couldn't.
Sure they could. Corsairs launch a new offensive and catch the OC with their pants down. RoS hears about Malta in distress and return to help. (Maybe hiring some additional help from allies, mercenaries, etc.)
Big battle ensues. (Potential for an Faction Event)
If the Reapers win, the general citizenry of Malta are grateful and public opinion sways in favor of the Reapers. From there, the Reapers dig up dirt on the current leaders of the OC and voila.

(shrug)
It's not as simple as that. And besides, why would the corsairs even care about us anyways? Just like they're kinda "meh" to us, we're kinda "meh" to them.
