Maybe it was uncalled for, but what's he leaving for? Few little changes to bombers as a whole? He'd rather quit the game than learn to live with a few changes, learn to adapt and fly in new ways? Sorry but that sounds rather pathetic to me.
I may not like the changes to the Greyhound either, but at least I'm not going to quit over it. The Rogues will simply adapt if no changes to the Greyhound are made.

maybe you havent heard me rage during the times i've been trying to fix the unioner shiplines' texture job, but ive threatened to quit in the same tone as gabor over 20 times without having the need to count, doesnt mean i'll actually leave because of the models being annoying to work with.
gabor has played fl for so long, he's lived through more changes to discovery than most people on discovery right now, and has never complained. one comment he makes about him leaving discovery does not warrant his head being chewed off, really.
That is what they are supposed to do I think.
Werent lots of people whinig saying "GBs are unuseful"
Now they are.
Still, the update really showed the true colors and level of maturity of some people.
I am here talking about those who: Ragequit, Bash Devs, Complaint on ten threads about the same darn thing, etc.
ok now while everyone is complaining about how unbalanced the game is for or against bombers or fighters or whatnot, there ARE other games that take place in space that do have a good balance :shok:
granted its an rts game, sins of a solar empire has the same ships pretty much as freelancer. it has the big cap ships, the bombers and the fighters. bombers rely on numbers, and powerful torpedoes to take down a cap ship that can only shoot back with its flak guns. the fighters go after bombers with their laser guns and better maneuverability and are able to just stay on them and take em out. is that really that hard to duplicate?
--i personally do wish they could just shrink the fighters and bombers to scale so a bs would be more massively big but thats another issue i guess--
