Some ships do break the feel a little but I am all for keeping them, they are here and we may as well make do. I would however like to see some of the Homeworld ships retextured. Just the ones that are commonly flown, such as what is being down for the Outcast Cruiser.

There are also some other well know ships from various series that if textured properly would fit perfectly into FL. an example is the Rodger Young from Starship Troopers. I personally think it would make a perfect civilian cruiser.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU! I was just thinking the other day that the roger young would fit perfectly into freelancer. it looks a little bit like a battlestar, so maybe zoners? civilians would work fine too.

oh and would the sketchup format work for modeling? or the autocad? i've got sketchup pro, but theres a plugin to export as an autocad file. just asking to see if i should even attempt to model the new outcast bomber.

I am trying to make a BH bomber...... I made a very similar ship to a Barracuda. Then I extended the two side wings even longer and wider and tapered then 30 degrees down. then made the Top fin longer to match the length of the two side wings...
Result ... a decapitated chicken Head mock up.... HAAAAAALP.

I think I need more practice.

@ Korrd: Back at FreeWorlds (Black out the server name if there are any problems) Funserver, We had someone suggest that as a Starfire MKII. If the Starfire MKI didnt look so...star wars-ish, I'd offer the model here (Of course while you guys are givin credit where it is due). It wouldnt look all that proper.

Yes, I'll see if anyone at FreeWorlds Funserver manaed to make it a model, and if they did, I'll get it to ya guys;)


@Everyone else

I hive few suggestions for ships, (Mainly cause theres 1 ship I REALLY like, but its a battleship and it requires special turrets:(), so I'll see what I cant do. I used to do custom textures, and once, I *acedentily* turned a Grey, Imperial Dreadnought into an Bright orange Dreadnought... I'll post up my handy work when I find the images.

Bounty Hunters don't need a bomber. The Houses need one, including the Hispania house. Bounty Hunters are supposed to fly around in Hammerheads, collecting bounties. They're not their own house, they don't even need capships.

But if you have nothing else to do... What the heck.
