I've always RP my OC character as an entheogen (read the article, it very interesting) user. Most of OC opponents think Outcasts are just a bunch of junkies, but I think that's far from truth. Outcasts don't consume huge amounts of cardi. It would be counter productive to do so, because look at what they have accomplished over the years - they have some of the most amazing ship (caps) & weapon tech in Sirius. You can't do that while you're so high that you see orange faeries. For many Outcasts cardi is as much a spiritual substance, an entheogen, as it is a means of survival. They have many ancient religious ceremonies revolving around Spirits and cardamine. Salvador Perez, my OC char, uses cardamine mainly as a catalyzer for spiritual growth.

And where did you find this? As far as I, and pretty much everybody else in the Outcast community knows it's in the air. You step out of your ship and onto the pad? Take a deeep breath? Yeh, sorry.

But the air is not flooded with cardi, it would be like when you are near someone who is constantly smoking; you breathe the smoke, may even feel some effects but you dont develop addiction, besides the cardamine is some sort of grass, so how could it be in the air?

Pollen. It's in the air. When the first Outcasts left Malta they didn't know why they were sick because they didn't understand cardamine. They were passively, not actively, taking it. It's in everything on Malta: air, water, soil, magazines, discotheques, crisps.

Yes but to breath it in, its in such small quantities in the air it takes longer then if you were to smoke 100% cardamine to develop some sort of addiction.

Not really,

Take Nitrogen for example, It's in the air we breath now. Matter of fact, it makes up 78.1% of the Earths air. Nitrogen is found in all living systems as part of the makeup of biological compounds. But was you aware your breathing it in? No it don't benefit you such as the Oxygen, Which only makes up 20.9% of earths atmosphere, yet is one of the essential components for human survival. Thus Nitrogen is overwhelmingly in our system, just not as noticed.

Cardamine on Malta is the same way. It is in the air, the soil, the food you eat, the water you drink, everything. It's a much larger consumed quantity than you think. And would result in to an addiction with out ever noticing it.

What he's trying to prove, Obnoxious, is that although you are consuming Cardi while sitting on Malta, it will take longer to develop any kind of addiction on it because of it's concentration.

Think about... Alcohol in real life.
You'll feel a stronger 'punch' if you drink a glass of pure vodka than if you mix it with water.
