Personally I think it's strange that the RH Bomber can out dodge HF's when it's infocard specifically says that the bomber is NOT as agile as VHF's or even HF's.

I've not flown a Chimaera, is that as bad as the Blood Dragon? Maybe they should be the same at least. I think the Titan is OK now though, it has quite a lot of power. Not all VHFs should be for dogfighting, some will be better for fighting larger ships and the Titan is one of those.
As for the R Bomber - I'm confused now, as some think it turns like a Titan. Strange, although I've not flown one myself, the ones I've fought against seemed very agile indeed.
Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons
"Bounty Hunters. We don't need that scum." - Admiral Piett
Thr RH bomber agility is not that of the titan, but it is not an eagle too.
Is something between a Sabre and a Titan. The sabre is a bit more maneuverable than a RH bomber.
I think that the maneuverability of the RH Bomber is ok.

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )

He is more agile - he is moving as good as the Sabre.
An idea for the next ver.:
Won't it be good to have the house' NPC's patrols use their best ships from time to time? I mean the police and navy patrols to use the MkII versions of the ships?
thas all for now...

The RH bomber should not be more agile than the Titan. Also the Blood Dragon should have slightly less firepower but more aglity than the Kusari MKII as the Blood dragons have always had quite agile ships. It should be as agile as the Eagle but not more powerful. Its purpose would pretty much be an Eagle that looks cooler. Though it should not have a turret like the Eagle making it slightly less powered.

Unless the Blood Dragon's turret fires forward, there is nothing to worry about there.
Which leads me to my question. DOES the Blood Dragon's turret fire forward?
If it does then we need to remove it add the agility then we will have itn normal. Though I don't think the origianl Dragon had any turrets so it might not have any at all. Something to check...
Both dragon-based ships have only 6 guns - no turrets.

is it possble to reduce the npc count figthter and cap ship alike at least 25% maybey more i have seen it do wonders for servers i realy have. i keep hearing talk about wepons fire rates being slower and some should be i think the swarm should be redused to a fire rate of 15.00 and damage in creased a bit as for the npc thing i realy think it do wonders, realy it be very benifical to see that implemented, thire is mods for that on tlr to if ya wonder how the coad wold be ect. it's olny a sugestion and only good for the npc out side of missions. am i the olny one that noticed that when 2 groups of caps get near ya that thires lag and even more when thire is alot of small fighters?
One thing that has bugged me about Freelancer forever is the way the universe works with ships.
A Battleship should be able to eat, just about any fighter, alive. Even with Nomad or Codename weapons, it would still be futile! Battleships should be able to hold larger and better shields then any other ship. The only problem would be when specificly designed Torp ships came in. Destroyers, Cruisers, and so on would also eat fighters alive. They're mainly for anti-fighter and to some degree, anti-capital class ships. They wouldn't be as hard as Battleships to take down, but still nigh-impossible without specialy designed bombers. Gunboats could be taken down by fighters, but at high cost. Gunboats are definatly anti-fighter, and as such should be able to take down a normal one. With upgrades and better piloting, a fighter could take one down. Then we get into Light Fighters (scouts, recon, etc.), Heavy Fighters (Mainstay of any fighter squadron, interceptors and anti-fighter ships), Very Heavy Fighters (For pestering heavy ships like Gunboats or Cruisers or other fighters), and Bombers (Not generaly good against fighters, but can launch torps against capital class ships. Very handy).
In Starlancer, you couldn't take out a capital class ship no matter what fighter you had. But with a torp bomber you could take them out, granted their shields were down. That's a very realistic view, not this "You can take anything on in a fighter" crap.
The Rhinland Battleship, unquestioningly the most powerful of all the Battleships, isn't anymore. It's a gigantic target that gets laughed at. Forgive me, but THAT'S MESSED UP!
An Eagle should not pwn a Battleship by itself. The Battleship should pwn the Eagle.
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
Agility of ships is not a simple thing to do - even if ships have same maneuverability values in shiparch.ini, they still handle in a different way. So each ship will need testing, and without testing I cannot guarantee any results of ship handling changes.
I agree that Rheinland Bomber must be significantly less agile than Titan - it's a unique ship that was made for taking out battleships, so it should be vulnerable against a normal vheavy fighter.
