I do mount paralyzers on some of me fighters such as my lawful one and those that are outcast aligned cause its the only alternitive to del cids.

Well I have a ping of 40, but nevertheless I shoot like a trembling old man:D

But I like missiles ... okay, If it's me against NPCs then they don't even try to evade, but against a real player I rarely use them ...

But it's funny if the pirate is under attack by about 10 NPC Police fighters and I fire the missile and he doesn't react, because he thinks that it is only a wasp or hornet, but in fact it's a destroyer turret missile ... BOOOM:rolleyes:

How much would it screw things up if ammo was free? Seems like the gripes people have don't involve the cost, but having to pay for supplies is definitely an added disincentive. Not to mention the added kick in the nuts of losing all the money you spent if you get killed.

I guess free reloads of cannonballs and nuke mines would be kinda broken. What about eliminating the cost of lower rank missiles that nobody uses nowadays? No matter how cheap they are, pilots still have to fly back to base every 70 shots (per missile type).

I don't use missiles, but they get used on me. I fly a manta, which missiles lock on to it very well.

All depends on which ship you are flying, and which ship you are fighting.

I dunno about making them free, but I could see missile ammo prices getting cut by about 75%. It just doesn't pay, from what I've seen, to load out with missiles, especially the lower end stuff.

price cut would make missiles worth it to me. and the ability to hold double the ammo. otherwise its just money down the drain for fighters.

How about having to buy ammo for all your guns? Oh, wait...thinking of EVE again...sorry.

As an Outcast, mount an Inferno. Learn to aim it. They are reasonably accurate. Then, have all your guns as Krakens. You will maul other fighters.

My QCP Templar actually uses a simlar approach with an Inferno, picked up via dubious means, coupled with Ultra Sunrails, codies and Nomad Blasters.

This Templar actually works wonders against bombers, due to the speed at which it rips hulls apart.

I think I read in the update notes for the new mod version that missile speed is increasing, hopefully their tracking will increase to match this new speed.

Well, I don't know if this is necessary.

The only reason people miss with missiles is that they forget to aim.

Anyway... guns are better!
