Getting quite a few reports that missions are not showing NPC's.

Have not tested it myself, but questions are ripping through on my Angel.

(Suggested re-log, move systems, change characters. Same result.)

Yes this seems to be the case. I'll reboot the server and see if (when) it happens again.

On other matters, I'll have another update tomorrow to address a number of issues including the small mining ships, ramming algorithm improvements and a few other odds and ends.

TBH, A notice on Minder/ minercorp IDt players would be nice which fields are still full
The intent was to have people move about and -look- for the good fields. If you want a headsup on that, try joining a mining faction. In IMG we tend to work together to find good fields, and then move there for mining. As for Dublin: People are mining the fields to scraps continuously, my guess is at least a portion of the local miners haven't gotten the clues yet. If there's nothing to mine there, move elswhere.

Not sure if it is relevant. I have had my first fl lock up in years just a minute ago.

I was doing a BAF mission against the Molly's just as I got the the distance where the npc's appear it locked up. I tried to test it again but all I now get is missions against Kusari. This was in the Dundee system.

I allready apped, but I dont do mining myself. Defence wing is my interest.

I am a hauler, thats all.


This is not about 'nothing ti mine here, lets move on'.

This is about ore fields not refilling.

Then you get to the point where players from around the world join at theyr time, and fields empty, thus nothing to mine for them unless they spend 1-2 hours flying around first.

Cant see myself making an account for:

5 Hedgemon miners

While it may be usefull, its metagaming to switch charwhile checking fields..

I still say a shorter refill time would let us just migrate as much as it is currently set for, and, this gives people a change to mine who are not active as much as some others are.

Feedback ftw....

Kruger Heg, mining cobalt in O7, upper field, at 10:00pm central time. 1-2 per rock, took 30 minutes to fill hold, no other miners around. Almost developed carpel tunnel....

Does Kruger still get a bonus for cobalt?

another minor quirk with collision damage. In my scimmy, accidentally cruised into a rhino (I know what you are thinking, it was in an asteroid field and couldn't be avoided). Anyway, rather than bounce off the rhino like normal, my little ship just kept plowing into it several times a second. luckily I managed to spam g until I was free.

would just like to add it's not only caps which are a problem. My sabre tends to get chunks taken out of it when forming on a Roc bomber. But it's more of an inconvenience than a big issue
