Also, I want to mention that I don't really like how things were developed. Omega-7 was recognized as Rheinland sovereign space from everyone and the only thing that Rheinland did, was to call the southern part of O-7 as part of it's space. IMG for that sole reason escalated things into a conflict while all the past months RF had more IMG Carriers than IMG| itself or even Volksfront had IMG weapons.

Rheinland answered to IMG for supplying it's enemies with the annexation of southern Omega-7 ? Probably.
IMG escalated things to an open conflict with a House for this justifiable annexation ? Suicidal.

You shouldnt forget that Rheinlands forces are pinned to the Hamburg front line as well, so they cant counter this little fun with all they got.

There won't be a rep hack, this conflict is only temporary and if we introduce something like that, it's unfair to a lot of players who aren't even remotely involved in this conflict.

More nonsensical role play. Really, 4.86 needs to find its way to the server before we have the Outcasts and the Corsairs joining forces to conquer Sirius.

I would welcome further elaboration as to why you find this crisis nonsensical, with a little background check on Rheinland's and the IMG's role play around the Omegas, you'll find that the two organizations have always been in standoff due to the greed over the area's resources.

I'd also like to see why this makes less sense than say, Unioners in Omega-5, which stands in the canon lore. Many of us, Rheinland players, have found the lack of changes and the misdirection of those introduced troubling.

Stuttgart is heavily fortified, since that's the region the RM is launching its attacks from. Dresden could work though, and if the Hessians were to snap it off the hands of Rheinland, this could be the time.

Yes, that. The RM hasn't deployed to the Omegas in full force, so the CR / IMG has a chance to repulse what we have so far. Then again, why this conflict is likely to end soon is also due to the miners losing a good chunk of the Taus to the Garlics.

So the BHG "can't participate in any unlawful actions", but "can trade and escort traders." Does that mean that an IMG transport can't hire a BHG as an escort for a trip through Rheinland, since IMG are no longer lawfully allowed in Rheinland?

BHG would be participating in an unlawful action since IMG is outlawed from Rheinland. It's a grey area but given that IMG would be paying BHG for protection against RM I'd say this is very much against the BHG interests. Ultimately it's the call of the BHG character though, IMG and RM are both classified as lawful organizations - but in wars between lawfuls, BHG usually stays out (Lib/RM and Bret/Kus conflicts are a reference).

What's the stance on mercs getting in and mucking things up? The Rheinland unlawfuls are still offering bounties on the heads of RM. It y'all are going to get in the same place and make it easy to find you, I'd probably like to show some intent to collect.

Iffy one since I am not sure Reavers are fully in the green with the Colonials, although if I'm not misstaken you're good with IMG and Hessians. I'd say if you want to join in the fray, do so - but try and keep things fair. RM/RFP/MND/Kruger/Daumann vs IMG/CR/RHA/RF could get a bit unbalanced from time to time since there's a lot of folks who -can- get involved. Let's keep it fun for everyone, reavers included:)

No rephacks are requested. We trust everyone to be reasonable. If that's not the case we'll FR5 some outliers.

When there're only 40 people online, neither of your suggestions are feasible.

With a population that low I doubt there'll be RM hanging around New Berlin, or troublemakers in O7 itself. Just go mine and deliver, since there's no rephacks, nothing prevents you from doing so in the low hours if powermining is your trade.

Additionally, there's a Niob sellpoint at Kensington (albeit at a lower price) and a Beryl sellpoint at Narita (good price). Inconvenient, yes, but you're not barred from mining.

There was an agreement made between Bretonia and Rheinland divvying that up - which IMG was not a part of. IMG never much bothered to resist it until Rheinland decided to try and push us off the mining grounds. IMG isn't a nation building faction, it's a mining faction - as long as the miners can work the fields more or less unmolested, IMG does not much care about inter-house politics.

Mining's all IMG does. Threaten that, and the reaction will be hostile. Didn't the Tau conflict start more or less for the same reason?
