I've just gotten back into the game after a while and the new tech compatibility system is boggling me a bit.

I've got a Rhino fitted with all civ guns and a freelancer ID but I'm getting an incompatibility message and having my efficiency dropped to 10%. What do I have fitted that is causing this?

1x Heavy Starbeam
2x Adv Starbeam
5x Bluebell Turret
Sentry Fr. Shield
Thruster
Scanner
Freelancer ID

Edit: Now all of a sudden it's reducing it to 90% instead of 10%??? Does cargo you're carrying change it too?

The tech chart gives all the current combinations available, and this shows the Freelancer ID only gets 90% core for a Liberty Civilian ship like the Rhino. They are 'supposed' to use Border World or Sirius-wide Civilian ships.
The initial 10% sounds to me like you may not have equipped the ID, only having it in your cargo hold after transferring it to your new ship.

Thanks, I had only seen the chart with yes/no compat options instead of percentages. That'll help out a lot.

Are you sure you weren't reading it wrong the first time, or was your ID unmounted?

Pretty sure it said 10% that's why I was so concerned. I made sure the ID was mounted the entire time as soon as I purchased it and didn't touch it between the 10-90% change, just unmounted and remounted the turrets and switched around some cargo.

Or someone forgot to set the rhino as liberty civilian. There are a lot of ships, not surprising a rarely used basic freighter would be forgotten.
