Lipari Colony is a planetside colonial settlement occupied and operated jointly by the Crayter Republic and the Republic of Malta. Founded in 824 A.S., the settlement was originally a shelter for former Maltese slaves and citizens who became Crayterian citizens after their release. In 825 A.S., the colony was given to the Republic of Malta as a safe location to house the Nacion's growing civilian population. Having once been a barely sustainable community, the settlement of Lipari is now a burgeoning colony of over 42 thousand people, most citizens of both the Crayter and Maltese Republics that government the town.
