Codename Weapon: STARBLAST
The STARBLAST is a prototype Exotic Particle decay lens adapted to be mounted on a fighter heavy weapon slot. Originally assembled from salvaged parts of a Hawking isolation chamber and linear accellerator by survivors of the stranded Lehrmann expedition into the Deep Omegas as a weapon of necessity, the STARBLAST is essentially an exotic particle stabilization module with a gravitational aperture to direct exotic decay ejections in the general direction of the target. Given the unpredictable nature of exotic decay, the particles are propelled forward at seemingly random trajectories whilst phasing in and out of real space, only to explode in a matter-antimatter annhilation as the decay products themselves also inevitably destabilize.
