Gallia is a faction added by Discovery Freelancer based on the nation of France, who arrived much later to the Sirius sector in their own sleeper ship and have since taken up residence in the galactic North-West of the region.
Only having recently made contact with the rest of the Houses by way of Bretonia, Gallia has not left a very good impression - their first reaction to meeting their closest neighbour was to invade, going so far as to nearly level the entirety of the Leeds system.
