The Liner Belmont was intercepted by the LSF in 834 AS while traveling through California, and detained on smuggling charges. After the owners were prosecuted for drug and arms trafficking, the vessel became government property. To quickly fulfill a Navy training requirement, the vessel was provided to the Naval Corps of Engineers, who renovated it to act as a basic drone carrier. Now deployed to Colorado's live fire range, it provides practical training scenarios for simulated fleet actions.
