No, the core of its survival is mobility and stealth... guerilla warfare and strong dedication from its members... infiltrated pretty much everywhere, and strong intelligence network - those are the real strength of the Order, which, funnily enough, nobody really roleplays in this server...
I don't know where does the experimentation and science thing comes from... even the advanced Osiris tech weren't built by the Order - merely stolen from Liberty (I can only assume the multiple copies aren't as advanced as the original, otherwise its pretty lame)... and the Anubis was just a reengineered Defender for Order specifications...
Perhaps the only true, original tech from the Order was the nomad gun (I can only suppose they were the one who invented this one up even though unspecified in Vanilla)
... but then of course, this is Discovery, isn't it...
' Wrote:Order's whole structure is about experimenting new techs. Its the core of its survival.

The core of the Order's survival includes both of these. All of the Order's capital ships are somewhat light and agile while the technology to build them has been reverse engineered from Nomad technology. In fact, the Order's use of Nomad technology is entire reason the BHG Core are at war with the Order. The BHG Core want Nomad tech, but they would rather take it from the Order than do it the hard way and take it from the Nomads.
Also, about the Osiris copies not being as strong as the original...I think it's the opposite. I seem to remember something in the Osiris infocard about all the copies being stronger, although I may be mistaken about this. Also, I think the Osiris copies traded their cloaking devices in exchange more firepower, but this is just an assumption by me, so I may be wrong about this too.
