# Can hunt pirates and terrorists anywhere in Sirius except for the Omicron systems
# Cannot attack any lawful police or lawful military except in self defense
When concerning factions like the Order and SCRA....
The SCRA are seen as terrorists, but I am informed that they are lawful. So in terms, you can't openly hunt them. What do I believe? Are they terrorists? Lawful? Can 'lantes shoot them!?
And the Order are in no way terrorists or unlawful. They're rather lawful, to be exact. So the vigilante ID will NOT allow you to attack them.
I have read your write-up and your information. If I were attacked, I wouldn't complain. I know your angle. But an indie who has yet to read it can sanction you. Because technically, this is against your ID.
How will you counteract this?

You raise very good points here.
Well, maybe we could have an Admin verify it for us if we through our Role-Play are allowed to view the The Order and the SCRA as hostiles/unlawful. Until then, we will just ignore these players to avoid the possibility of a sanction.

I think to avoid in-RP being banned from the Barrier Gate Station, we will not attack anyone in the perimeter of 10K from it. Beyond that, it's fair game even in Coronado.

Feel free to dock and grab a drink or food, catch a holovid, refuel, repair, rearm, etc etc etc. While I do ask that you not base out of a Zoner station, we will not stop you from utilizing them. It would defeat the purpose of them even being there if we did.
Cheers. Glad to see fresh idea factions popping up.

I completely disagree here.
The SCRA are not lawful. Not when they bring an Osiris plus escort into New York, proclaiming that they will shoot down all Navy vessels.
The Order are in no way terrorists or unlawful? I think you may have missed the introduction to singleplayer where they blew up the Donau. Sure, they had a reason, and generally its considered a good one, but all terrorist groups have a reason. This is as much as a case of "one man's Terrorist is another's Freedom fighter". To you they may be completely lawful, but to others they just aren't. Others in this case = Liberty.
The difference between these two groups and, say, Liberty's stance on the Rheinland Military, is that all Coalition/Order vessels would be shot down in Liberty, regardless of their status as combatants or not. Yet the Rheinland Military is an organisation made wholely of combattants, but the house of Rheinland is not. You wont find us shooting civilians just because they happen to have been born in Rheinland.
Furthermore, neither are considered lawful to the house of Liberty, which is where this group seems to have originated from.
In addition, both the Corsairs and the Outcasts are 'lawful' within their own space, Omicron Gamma and Omicron Alpha respectively, and act as semi-organised military forces. Thus they are lawful, suddenly?
I would ask that an admin clarify what makes a 'lawful' organisation, as it is obviously not who they shoot. Perhaps it could be left to the five houses to each have a list of who is 'lawful' and who is not, rather than having a blanket thrown down which forces Terrorists, though they may not think themselves as such, into the role of Freedom Fighter.
There are always exceptions of course, but those are singular and just exceptions, not basis for a rule of thumb.

I understand your reasoning and I agree with you. So no worries.
Edit: @Connor, I put that question to the Admins. Here is the answer I got:
I think as long as we are in Liberty, as a Liberty Vigilante gang, it doesn't matter if we shoot the lawfuls, as long as they are doing an unlawful action.
Like if we catch a Republican attacking a DSE in Texas, we would shoot down that Republican.
Only thing we don't involve ourselves in is the Rheinland <-> Liberty war. We won't attack Rheinland Military unless in self defense.
Seems to have alot of the bases covered and a well thought out strategy on how to act this out server-side, look forward to trying not to bump into you out in Liberty space lads :D
