Check the Tech Chart. Lane Hacker ID is white to Outcast technology, so yes they can use it with permission.
I'd also suggest that you, Altejago, step aside and let kettle take full leadership until a time when you can adjust your attitude. I had the same attitude at one point, it does you no good and only hurts your faction. That said, good luck with the official bid if you aren't official and if you are still official do what you do.

Rick signing back in for a moment,
As amusing as that would be, I am not capable of running a faction this large as well as the current president. I just wouldn't cut it, all leaders make mistakes, I'm sure the president is well aware now, he will be made to see what it was exactly that went wrong for the future. I'm sure his time off will accomplish this.
AS helpful as your advice might appear to you, I certainly do not find stepping down from something me and my partner have spent hours, days and months building up, is for the greater good of our company and this server.
Yes, we are fresh. A mere 9 months old here. And no, we are not as 'elite' as the most of you faction leaders appear to be.
It is proven you need to be aggressive here to be heard. And when you get the amount of flak we get here, from people "putting their 2 cents in" or blatant sabotage as it appears to happen, the community makes this go from being fun too down right infuriating.
Yes, I ballsed up with my apparent limited knowledge of tech being shared amongst the Rogues, Outcast and Hackers. Get the hell over it. Like I explained, we are fresh, and we do not know every nitty-gritty detail.
Not one of you has experienced being with our faction. And I will tell you, we are far more organized, far more efficient and most certainly, far more new player orientated then a lot of these official factions.
We have had three people resign. And only one of them was because of a personality clash. The other two were due to real life situations.
It is apparent there is jealousy, envy and even hate for us. But with any good company, they need good and strong leadership, which is why we have 4 people who are dedicated to the smooth running of DSE) and I am proud to say we run a very close knit community, and it is in the best interests of all to assist us to help the server.
I am hot-headed, yes. In real life I am far more light hearted, but the aggression and personal attacks we experience from other so-called faction heads only leads to our reactions. Cause and effect.
So Daedric, I will not relinquish my position as the leader of this company, and if I am needing to take a break to stop me being pissed at fellow community members for being arrogant and abusive, I will decide who fills my shoes. Not you.
If it is going to make you all feel better, and less threatened/angered/upset by us as a faction, then we may consider withdrawing our application for officialdom. After all, it would be a lot more fun if we don't have to worry about morons trying to keep their place and self proclaimed reputation in one piece.
My recent sanctions were all pathetic. And they were a result of other unfair game play. "//up yours" is still coarse apparently, and so yes, I apologise to those that find that offensive. And the DSE) sanction was about meta-gaming, and my statement to the opposing party for their apparent meta-gaming, not the tech issue itself. And my comment that was I ultimately sanctioned for was "I would like an apology for your deliberate meta-gaming, or I will take this to the top"
And I think I read somewhere, "If you haven't been sanctioned, you haven't played long enough."
I will take all this on the chin. For as after we overcome these deliberate attacks at myself and my friends in this faction, we will be stronger, wiser and far more efficient at what we do.
The bottom line is this: Unless you have some manners, and can approach us with respect and be courteous about how you produce your opinion on things you may see us doing wrong, you will get a hostile response.
Altejago: The bottom line is that I expect better from the leader of a potential official faction. At the moment, I'll be recommending that DSE is not granted official status. This is a result of your replies in this thread and your game play. This has nothing to do with how long you have been here. You need to show a significant and major improvement in your understanding of acceptable behaviour and game play to change my mind.
Kettle; I'll mention it isn't really necessary to RP in this thread but good on you anyway. You made good, sensible and open replies. Keep it up.

And you are basing these decisions on the crap that is going on here. Months of work, interaction and game play is all flushed because I expressed my displeasure at the crap we receive. Good on you.
We will revoke our application, and just do our thing. Does that mean you will give back all the credits you took from both DSE) applications? Or are you with-holding that too?
Altejago, just take a break. This isn't just about you, there are a bunch of other people in your faction. You should consider them too. If you want to quit, hand the leadership to one of them.

If your faction chooses to withdraw the application, the money is not refundable. This is stated clearly in the faction creation guidelines.

' Wrote:// Athenian has Privately discussed with Altejago and it was confirmed that we are official.
This is incorrect.
What I stated was that the previous DSE faction had dissolved itself at the request of its leader, sprolf, in Jun 2010.
I also indicated that my understanding of the situation was that since then, the only mention of a DSE faction being official arose in this thread requesting officialdom, which has not been voted on yet.
The conclusion I draw from this is that you are not official. If someone told you you are, they need to tell me as well.
