In regards to the Ganking:
-A good bit of our pilots are sub-par, compared to the opponents we often face, or are at the very least outgunned. We originally used ganking not to Gank, and Win... But, well, to be honest, QUITE a while back, we got in a 5 vs 3, versus the dragons, in Hokkaido. After the Dragon's defeated two Navy officers, whom we did not assist due to certain RP events that had recently occured at that point, the FIVE of us engaged (and lost) to the TWO remaining dragons.
-When was the last time you heard of a SINGLE police officer responding to a crime? Never. You ALWAYS get one police getting there first... and radioing in backup, before he even starts to deal with the problem. And besides, for the NAVY, IE the "Samurai" I can understand "honorable duels", one versus one, etc. For the police, who's stated goal is to "Stop Crime" I do believe that the ganks are actually MUCH more iRP then any other option.
In Regards to Tau-23:
-First, I wasn't there, so I have no idea on this incedent, to be clear. Haven't heard of it until now, no sight of anything on it in the KSP chat, no reports, no messages, nadda.
-Tau-23, so far as I know, is only accessible via Jump Hole from Kyushu, when reaching it from Kusari space. This stated, it is accessable directly from Kusari Space. Following the example of the rest of the 'Border systems' which, as granted by our ID's, we may enter, I do believe that we'd be staying within 15k~, for any lawful actions, and that we'd usually only be entering ALREADY IN PURSUIT of someone whom had committed a crime in Kusari space.
-IF that above general scenario is not at all similar, pleas send names, screenshots, and an outline of events to Kai, Timo, or myself, and we'll get to dealing with the 'problem child' in the best possible manner. Mind, this doesn't mean you'll be hearing of Rage Kicks, just that we want to keep our faction honest...ish.

While, due to some admin notice I may be unaware of, you may be correct in stating that using an ID to identify someone is metagaming... If that's the case, EVERY last lawful faction, and indeed, most every player on the server is quite guilty of almost constant, and to the extent to which it occurs, gamebreaking metagaming.
...
To clarify, reading an ID to acquire information about the ID's title is not metagaming. It is only a meta method for the convenience of players to acquire information about other characters, which, in-RP, is information that your own character already had, or could acquire by other discreet roleplay methods.
Now, as I still don't have anything to say about the KSP, I'll be heading out of this thread...
Edit: If anyone really, really wants to pursue the topic a separate thread is fine.
Before the tag was passworded, any random could tag [KSP]
They occassionally come out of the woodwork, we catch them, ask them to detag etc etc. The cruiser in question has been asked to detag and has done so. It'd have been nice to get a name though.
[KSP]-Officer-ZensaiRyu was the ship in question. It was never actually part of any iteration of the KSP.
