Class 9 Turrets
From Discovery Wiki
Class 9 Turrets are used for Battleship Primary Turrets only, and are the main weapons for combat against other large spacecraft. Battleship Heavy Turrets and Battleship Missile Turrets are Class 10 Turrets, while Battleship Secondary Turrets and Battleship Flak Turrets are Class 8 Turrets.
All capital ship weapons do Direct damage, and the shield technology in use by the target does not affect the amount of energy damage that is taken.
