Even for a VHF it's big. But then again, I agree it should rather be a VHF than an HF.
About HFs...afaik the Marauder remains unchanged, that one always did decently alright. Feels a bit like a faster VHF with weak hull, low firepower and a weaker shield though. With missiles now the agility counts a bit less and the hull a bit more. What kills the ship now is the low BB count, which is barely above LF levels.
To the "real" HFs ... I haven't flown any of CD+Torp slotted HFs tbh. I should maybe try one of them though, since I love MRing people...from looking at it, I'd say you are better off with either a LF or a VHF. (Also, there are too few CD+Torp HFs to actually give a good look at them, few people fly them.)
Too specialized for my taste, useless if you are not with perfect aim or heavy MR user.
