Xenos = No one will like you, and you will get more pew pew than you want.

Hackers = No traders will like you, and every trader will metagame use player list use "long range scanners" to utterly avoid any contact with you, making for a boring character.

Rogues = Navy will be after you heavily, traders will try to avoid you, but they won't go as far to avoid you as they would a hacker, and there are plenty of other rogues out there for you to have some fun with and yarr about with.
