Is there a way to make the "fighter" Inferno look more like a blast of electricity? Sort of like an orange lightning bolt.
I was thinking seeing it knocks a shield offline it would make more sense to be like this.. it would also look so cool.

keep the idea's coming in they are all being noted, some may be impossible, some not so much.

As for the inferno unholy1, it is possible but not the best of ideas, i changed the inferno for 4.85 and it was much harder to hit with so it was changed back, though what i can do is add things to the current inferno give off the kind of "lightning" effect you wish, even if its just lightning surrounding the current orange ball of def.

while were throwing ideas arrownd, how bout a cruise missile? make the projectile like a big torpedo but a bit longer and maby some fins/wings

Would be super long range anti-cap weapon mountable on stations and big capitals.
Range: 10000 if allowd, if not 7000
damage: somewhere between normal missiles and morter
speed: 80
turning: 2.00 but have 360 tracking range (bigger missile= better traking+ easier to shoot)
explision radius: 50
uses ammo (exept on stations)

What would be awesome: A homing fighter for battleships.

Deploy the fighters - infinite range... 80ms...

if only we could make missiles shoot...

Another idea would be a point defense turret that you could use to shoot down missiles, torpedoes, and mines? A gun that has high refire and a small blast radius, but it would be useless against anything else.

First off , the third video, a full visual/radar cloak is a definite no, unless it was Admin Only so that they could sneak around rule breakers and ninja their deaths. (Other games have similiar abilities given to admins to hide them from players so that said player doesnt know hes being watched should he decide to cheat.)

To the Second, Repair guns have been suggested many times. They would make Repair Ships so much more usable as they would have to be active and not just botstorage. In addition it could open up the idea of a Combat Repair Ship (While a Repair Ship would be best at repairing, having more repair turrets that repair more points), an SHF Type ship with 1-2 weaker repair guns, but the added ability of being able to use anti-fighter guns would allow for a more unique roll being able to go offensive against other fighters, or support their own fighters to a [b]small[b] extent with its repair guns.

To the first, Radar cloak would be nice, but only if it still allowed the targetting of the ship.
Instead of being completely untargettable, perhaps make it so that the ship must be within 3500 to target.

In addition to limiting it to certain RP's, perhaps limited to Special Operative RP's where it would benefit the players RP to be hidden from his/her enemy instead of:

Covert Operative: *static is heard over the comms line as the ship begins jamming long-range scanners*
<time passes>
Random Hostile: "Hostile on scanners 14k away, moving in to engage"

I've put up a few weapon suggestions in the past, none got much word.
I had a kitbashed mining ship as a Minelayer launching large mines in a slightly scattered pattern that lasted for 2-5 minutes using the Zone-21 Mine model.

Aside from that, I had a Torp-Mounted Shotgun, and a Torp Mounted Swarm Missile Salvo launcher. Both use practically the same concept in terms of how they work, the only difference being the type.

The shotgun, in one triggering, would fire 7 scattered projectiles, should each projectile hit their target it would do a between 2k under, to 2k over Mini Razor damage. Having a 2-5 second refire to counter the slightly lowered aiming requirements.
The Swarm Missile Launcher would, in one triggering as before, fire 7 scattered missiles, doing 2250 damage each (or 13500 damage total if they all hit). Having a 5-10 second refire to counter the ability to blow off guns. (Yes I know theres an issue with missiles and server lag, thats why theres not much interest in this one, but the shotgun is still doable if you ask me)

The only downside to the repair gun is that their shields must be down. I do agree about the visual cloak not being added, but the radar cloak would make it so that covert operatives might be more playable and have more purpose. Also, the shotgun sounds nice.

Fighter.... ships as missiles, would be nice.
I wonder, what happens when you code a missile as a gun with HPFire Points and launch it from its missile launcher.

No doubt a crash, but meh.....
