Well a very good desicion is not to increase number of NPC's , than highering the lv of the pilots and definetely making out the loadout. Put the corsairs to use tizona gun or 2 and a missle ull see whats the battle with them meant to be. The npc's dont use their full potential of their faction equipment. If we re-arm the Npc more in a player kinda way (no codes of cource) we will have the fun. And lv10 guns of the corsair salamanka and outcasts wyrm and kraken yould be nice (especially mounted on an NPC).

Comm. Adama:
-Then grab your gun and bring in the cat!
Starbuck:
-Boom , boom , boom!"

If anything there should be less NPC's. There are too many and are very annoying at times.

Also it may help server lag problems.

Less but slightly stronger? To keep difficulty the same but removing the swarming of ships?

Guys you have to think of Other servers as well, along with SP players, they need to be able to live against these things too.

I think would be easier to live against less, but stronger enemies. But that's just me.... Swarms of BHG (yes, I've been a pirate since I finished to SP, basically) tended to kill me a lot more than when I shot a couple of Corsairs on "accident"... >.>

Swarms of BHG? :unsure:

Nope you get FLEETS of BHG hammerheads around some JH's. And they respawn so fast that by the time you've killed 2 or 3 another 4 have turned up, you end up fighting for ages until some corsairs turn up so you can run away.

While we're on the subject.

All BHG fighters show as mounting laser weapons on all their gun slots when you scan them, but the hammerheads always eat through graviton shields as if they've got at least two particle weapons mounted.

Less NPC's but harder ones sounds good to me.

Then again until you've gotten a fully-equipped fighter you can be killed off by NPC's pretty easily, especially by the corsairs and outcasts (found out the hard way, but it was fun :laugh: ).

Yeah tell me about it... When i was flying the BH hammerhead , i took a mission vs corsairs...got so crippled , that fighting was a pain...and the server restarted ... so i ended up with no wings , fin, and no $$$ for the mission. :D

well if you make the npc's much better than the Noobs on the server are gonna have alot of problems working thier way up to a better ship. (I had a hell of a time in my starflyer b4 i could afford a good ship, making it too hard would discourage new players)
