Originally, the Core was content with using the tried and true HN series of engines for their vessels, but as their shipbuilding capabilities expanded it became clear that the mass market model would not be sufficient. The E series was newly developed from the ground up to be the pinnacle of modern propulsion technique, no matter the cost. The design requires substantial resources and an extremely dilligent manufacturing process, and high maintenance once installed, but offers highest grade military performance and efficiency. This type is designed for Heavy and Very Heavy Fighters.
