    Areas of Interest

    Nebulae

    Autun Nebula

This nebula of fine ice particles conceals the Voiron Asteroid Field, with both frequently seeing Saulieu - a moon of Tonnerre - pass through as it orbits around the colossal gas giant. The distinctive green color of this nebula is caused by the high concentrations of copper present within it.

    Saint-Remy Nebula

    >>>WARNING: RESTRICTED AREA<<<

    Â

A medium-sized nebula made up of sensor scattering ice particles, the Saint-Remy Nebula hides the Nievre Asteroid Field within it, and Gallic National Intelligence ships are frequently seen entering it. Though little is known about what is inside of the field itself, the GNI has publicly declared the entire nebula to be restricted to unauthorized traffic, and as such should be steered well clear of. Like its sister, the Autun Nebula on the far side of Burgundy, the Saint-Remy contains high concentrations of copper, leading to its vibrant green color.

    Asteroid Fields

    Cote-d'Or Asteroid Field

Located on the fringes of the explored portion of the Burgundy system, most of this field remains largely unexplored, though pirate attacks along the nearby Trade Lane have become more common as of late.

    Morvan Asteroid Field

Morvan was once a thriving mining field within Gallia, with miners based out of Alesia prospecting the field in early Gallic history, however with the depletion of resources from the field and abandonment of Alesia, the field now serves as a hideout for criminal elements from which to pounce on traders.

    Tille Debris Field

Located not far from Alesia Station, most of the field formed around a gravitational anomaly during the construction of the station, the nearby Jump Gates, and the Trade Lanes connecting them. The field has become more dense recently, as most of the major capital ships destroyed during the Kusari invasion have been dragged here, a grim reminder to those traveling from the Core Worlds of the sacrifices the fleet made on their behalf.

    Genlis Debris Field

A medium-sized field of large space debris remaining after construction of the Dijon Station. This area was also used to dump debris remaining after other Burgundy base construction sites. Junkers have made an attempt to clear outer parts of the field, but after the start of Second Gallic Civil War it became obvious that this operation won't reach completion anytime soon.

    Wrecks

    La Entrega - E-2

The wreckage of the Outcast Dagger, La Entrega, which belonged to a rookie Outcast pilot Maria Montez. She seems to have stumbled across a nearby undiscovered jump hole. Hoping to be the first to explore the other side and prove herself, she preemptively jumped in. Her wish came true, but not without the complete failure of the life support systems due to turbulence during the jump. The pilot likely suffocated to death, and the wreckage now lingers in the vicinity of the jump hole.
