FRXV-300M Overcharged Engine System Mk I
A radically modified version of the original Liberty engine that drove expansion during the early years of Sirius' colonization. These units in particular have seen the application of several aftermarket components to increase durability, or more appropriately tolerance for stress and extreme redlining. Running on poor quality fuel mixtures and at high performance thresholds, these engines produce great results at the expense of unit lifespan, typically burning out engine exhausts due to combat stresses. This engine is intended for use on heavy fighters.
